When independence was declared by Ho Chi Minh in 1945 and after that turned down by the French, Triet, who was fifteen, joined the resistance. He first gathered money and sang propagandistic songs which has a youth brigade, then entered the Viet Minh army. Wounded in battle in 1952, Triet noticed the French defeated two decades afterwards and afte
